Anita “Sue” Bartz (nee Gosney), 68, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at her home in Mentor, KY. Sue was a paramedic with Eastern Campbell Volunteer Fire Department for over 22 years and was honored as member of the year in 2001. She was a member of Mentor Church. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Bartz, parents Ernest and Edna (Riddle) Gosney, a brother, Bill Gosney. She is survived by two children, Karen (William) Herald and Michael (Sarah) Bartz; two sisters, Margie Sheffel and Maggie Gosney; four grandchildren Amanda Herald, Noah Herald, Sophie Bartz and Trent Bartz; two sister-in-laws, Bev Smith and Sandra Gosney; one brother-in-law, Brian Bartz. Visitation Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington Street, Alexandria, KY 41001 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery, Mentor, KY. Memorials are suggested to Campbell County Fire District 1 (Eastern Campbell Station), St. Elizabeth Hospice or American Red Cross.
