Arlene June Boden (nee Steelman), 72, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011 at her home in California, KY. She was a wife, mother, grandmother & homemaker. She was a life long member of First Twelve Mile Baptist Church, she attended college at Eastern Kentucky University & traveled with the university choral group, she was a teacher at Dale Elementary, and she also worked for American Optical & Patient First. She loved singing, interior decorating & working in her rose garden. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Ellen Mitchell, a sister, Loretta Steelman, & a brother, Carl Steelman. She is survived by her husband of 50 yrs, Robert Lee Boden, and two daughters, Kimberly Ann Christen & Lori Boden Mitchell. Loving grandmother of Leo Alexander Christen, Hannah Rae Christen & Robert Tyler Mitchell. Dear sister of Robert Steelman & Lowell Steelman. Visitation 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011 with funeral service following at the Alexandria Funeral Home. Entombment Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum Southgate, KY.
