Marie C. Whiles (nee Selz), 85, of Edgewood, KY., died Monday, October 3, 2011 at Emeritus at Edgewood. She was a graduate of Deer Park High School in Deer Park, OH. She was a retired executive secretary for Union Central Life Insurance Company Cincinnati, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin E. “Bud” Whiles & two brothers, Howard & Leonard Selz. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Marie Insko of Edgewood, KY; 2 sons, Ronald E. Whiles of Winter Haven, FL. & Thomas R. Whiles of Alexandria, KY; two brothers, Harold Selz of Naples, FL & Hubert Selz Claymont, DE. Also survived by 9 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. Visitation 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2011 with the funeral service following at 1:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Interment at the Alexandria Cemetery Alexandria, KY. Memorials to Christ Baptist Church, 3810 Alexandria Pike Cold Spring, KY 41076.
