Irma (Schmidt) Futscher, 86, of Camp Springs, KY, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport, KY. Irma was a homemaker, Charter Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Camp Springs Volunteer Fire Department and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Campbell County VFW Post #3205. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome “Jerry” Futscher, her parents, Louis and Irene (Guenther) Schmidt and a brother, Glenn Schmidt. Irma is survived by three daughters, Janet (Tom) Steller of Elizabethtown, KY, Sue (Jim) Bradley of Cold Spring, KY and Sharon (Tom) Ramler of Camp Springs, KY; two sons, Dan (Barb) Futscher and Doug (Donna) Futscher all of Camp Springs, KY; one sister, Jean Roach of Maderia, OH; eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 3:30 PM – 5:45 PM with Mass at 6:00 PM at Saint Joseph Church, Camp Springs, KY. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery, Camp Springs, KY. Memorials may be made to Saint Joseph Perpetual Cemetery Fund, C\O Saint Joseph Church, 6833 Four Mile Road, Camp Springs, KY 41059.
