Mitch you were and still are one of the greatest guys out there. I'm glad my sister had a friend like you. I remember when you first came over to our house right away i could tell that you were an all around great guy, and i was only 12. You made everyone's lives you came in contact so much better. You were a hero to so many. I remember seeing you play basketball, and thought you were awesome. You were talented in so many ways. Heavne just got another great Guardian Angel look after everyone here on earth. We'll miss you. It's sad to see a guy loved by so many go this way, but i know we'll meet again. RIP Mitch.

Words can not express the loss this community has just encountered. Mitch was a genuine good guy, fearless, brave, and a true role model and leader. I am so honored that I spent 12 years of my education with Mitch, and continued our friendship even after leaving BBHS. Your smile and laugh will be greatly missed Mitchell David! Thank you for the years of happiness and laughter!
ReplyDeleteLove Always,

I have been receiving calls and email from dozens of people during the past two days. It is hard to know what to say or write about Mitch. There are just so many good things you can say about him, so I wanted to write just a few.
ReplyDeleteMitch was a genuine, kind and respectful young man. Mitch cared about Bishop Brossart. Mitch cared about the kids he coached. Mitch cared about NKU. Mitch was proud to have earned his degree at NKU and he helped to get me involved in volunteering in the Construction Management Dept. He was one of the few people I know that everyone liked. When we saw Mitch out at Barleycorns, kids and adults flocked to him. He had a way of making everyone around him feel good.
I am really going to miss Mitch. He was such a giver. He always gave hope and confidence to his players. He gave his time and talents to help others and he was always quick to give everyone around him a big smile or a good laugh.
May God bless his family and friends during this difficult time.

To Shady Orth & the Family: It's very difficult to find the right words to convey to you that would bring you comfort. We all are going to pass over this journey. We never expect for our children to leave us. I wish you comfort in knowing your loved one is in Good hands with our heaveanly Father now. My deepest sympathy is extended to your entire family. God's blessings and peace to all of you.

ReplyDeleteMitch, I was so blessed to share time with you at our monthly Northern Kentucky Concrete Promotion Counsel. You had such energy and that will be greatly missed at our luncheons.I was also blessed to have known your Dad and Grandfather and other family members. A common thread brought us together, that being our occupations (CONCRETE). That being said, may our friendship forever be embeded in Concrete.
ReplyDeleteMay you rest in peace. Bob Strong
