Catherine “Ruth” West (nee Schnitzler), age 93, of California, KY, passed away October 13, 2016 at Saint Elizabeth Fort Thomas. Ruth was a retired Deputy Matron at the Campbell County Jail. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldo T. West “2003”. Ruth is survived by a son, Ernie Schnitzler; siblings, David Schnitzler, Gail Schnitzler, Martha Paynter, JoAnn Keeler and Norman Schnitzler; grandchildren, Nathan Schnitzler and his fiancée, Brandy Kimmel and Missy Williams and her husband, Russell. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Alexandria Funeral Home from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with the funeral service immediately following at 1:00 PM.
