Betty G. Schwed, age 92, of Fort Thomas, KY, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Highland Springs. Betty was a retired employee of the DAV in Cold Springs, KY. She was preceded in death by her daughter Therese Went in 2008. She is survived by 4 grandchildren, Becky (Ron) Ratliff, Nikia (Wayne) Geiman, Holly Hartman and John Went; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 step-children, Margaret Floyd, Mary Schwed and Bill Schwed; 1 sister, Judy Scheidler. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Alexandria Funeral Home from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM with the funeral service following at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in the Alexandria Cemetery, Alexandria, KY.
