It has been a great honor and pleasure to have met and taken care of Mrs. Hamby since our very first meeting 12/31/2015. She was a gentle spirit with a brightness about her at every visit. I also enjoyed sharing stories and pictures with her and her family. She was such a joy to be around. She was as close to a grandmother as I could have asked for since all my grandparents have passed on. Mrs. Hamby will also have a place in my heart. She is at peace, an angel above. Hamby family I truly appreciate all your kindness.

Amazing lady! I think she probably taught every student in the district at some point with the amount of time she gave during her years as a substitute. She was a long term sub for my junior year English and taught us more about grammar in those 8 weeks than anyone I had before. Wise, strict and yet gentle spirit. Teaching was certainly her God given purpose. Love and condolences to her family! - Rachel A
