Robert J.
Blaut, 97, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at St.
Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY. Robert was a WW II Army Veteran and received the
Bronze Star Medal and a Purple Heart for heroic or meritorious achievement of service. He was a
machinist and retired from American Tool. Robert was preceded in death by his
wife, Blanche Velma Lee Blaut (nee Clift) and a son, Robert “Bobby” Blaut, who
was killed in action in the Viet Nam War. Robert is survived by many nieces and
nephews. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at the
Alexandria Cemetery, 7 Spillman Drive, Alexandria, KY, on Tuesday, October 17,
2017 at 11:30 AM. Alexandria Funeral Home is serving the family. Memorials are
suggested to the American Cancer Society or Wounded Warriors.

My condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one, and may you be comforted by the future promises of Almighty God to mankind through his written word, the Bible, God foretold what He will do for His earth and mankind, the present situations that we are going through now (pain, suffering and sorrow,) will in the future become a thing of the past, please read John 5:28,29, Revelation 21:4,5.
