Glen Alan Miller, 55, of Fort Smith, Arkansas (formerly Erlanger, KY) passed away on July 3, 2017. Glen led Northern Kentucky schools not just in the classroom where he inspired students to learn and succeed but also at the helm of school districts where he placed students first by enabling school districts to have modern facilities and provide exceptional learning opportunities for students. Glen spent 27 years at Beechwood Independent School District as a technology coordinator, teacher, principal, and superintendent; and he recently retired as superintendent from Campbell County Schools. Glen led Beechwood Independent School District to become a nationally recognized school with top educational merits while being instrumental in revitalizing and modernizing Beechwood’s facilities. While at Campbell County Schools, Glen continued to provide leadership in enhancing learning opportunities for students with the opening of a new state-of-the-art technology center. Glen will be well-remembered for his great sense of humor and ability to make others laugh. He is survived by his daughter, Alicia Miller, and four brothers. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14 at the Alexandria Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials can be made to Oneida Baptist Institute, PO Box 67, Oneida, KY 40972-0067.
