Lucian “Lou” Carl Placke Sr., 91, of Cold Spring, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. Lou was founder of Alexandria Tire of Alexandria, KY. He was a member of Saint Mary of the Assumption Church and a WWII Navy Veteran. Lou was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth B. Placke (nee Wesdorp). He is survived by his children, Janice (Late Ed) Brown, Deborah Sinclair, Rebecca (Jeff) Baron, Lisa (Larry) Snyder and Lucian Carl Placke Jr.; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington St, Alexandria, KY 41001. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Saint Mary Church, Alexandria, KY. Interment with Military Honors at St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.
